A man

I see a man
Worried for his kin
Unsure of his future
And the world he’s living in

In some way dependent
Of the grace of others
Over which he holds no say
Against whom there is little cover

He wonders about providing
For his family back at home.
So he endures silent hardships
And worries, by others unknown

I see a man

What relief can I offer him
To improve the world he’s living in
